Wizard's Arcade Sharing my thoughts on gaming

Was the Nintendo Switch rushed?

The Nintendo Switch system was released just recently on March 3, 2017. Numerous people have been reporting multiple issues dealing with the system already. The dock is scratching the screens, if you apply a skin to the system or controllers the glue eats into the material of the casing, the left JoyCon controller looses sync with the system. Now it was found out that a wifi signal bug is causing frame rate drops in the games.

Personally I do think the reason Nintendo was so secretive about the details on the system was because they was still developing the features they wanted on the system. I also think the switch is more a upgraded Wii U, yes I know system specs etc are way different (stronger) but I fell many of the games we are seeing released such as Zelda Breath of the Wild was started off as a Wii U developed title and then ported over to the switch.

Someone posted information about how much space digital games will take for the switch

Dragon Quest Heroes I & II – 32 GB
I Am Setsuna – 1.40 GB
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild – 13.4 GB
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – 7 GB
Nobunaga’s Ambition – 5 GB
Puyo Puyo Tetris – 1.09 GB
Snipperclips – 1.60 GB

only having 32gb internal space will hurt the system

3 more games in the Wii U Collection

As I have a dislike of GameStop I limit how much I am willing to spend in that store. But I found 3 Wii U Games I did not have in the collection.

Disney Infinity 2.0 $2.99
Skylanders Giants $0.99
Skylanders Swap Force $0.99

Tied of GameStop lying

so I stopped into a GameStop in the next town over and got confirmation that my local GameStop store lied to me once again. They have a list of people who want the Wii U Kiosk and if they are told to remove the Kiosk it will go to one of the people on the list.

WiiUKiosk-GSS2.jpg

So looks like I will be updating my policy for the company. I used to have a limit of $10 a game, now that limit just became $5. I used to go to that store once or twice a week. It just became go into that store only when the website says they have 2 or more games for under $5 I want. The goal will be to stop going into the store 100% soon

Update (Feb 25, 2017): I have not returned to the local GameStop store and I will not ever step foot into that store again.

Always looking for displays

I am always looking to get more displays items, such as Retail Kiosks, artwork, signs, posters, etc. This will be something I will always accept even if I have 10 of the same item I will be happy to get more of it since I can later use them in trades to get ones I am missing.

Thanks Pookninja3

Just completed another trade with Pookninja3 and got some more cases I needed for my games.

Super Mario 3D Land (Case & Manual)
New Super Mario Bros (Case)
Super Mario 64 DS (Case & Manual)

Still looking for the manual for New Super Mario Bros (DS)
